  • Reports to the Production Manager

Activities

  • Provide support to the Production Manager, in the supervision and coordination of daily operations, related to the entire production process.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure smooth workflow, optimize processes, and achieve goals to meet customer requirements.
  • Implement and support strict quality control measures, throughout the production process, in line with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the optimization of production processes by identifying areas for improvement, implementing innovative strategies, and monitoring productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with other departments (research and development, logistics, quality control, purchasing, etc.) to facilitate the alignment and coordination of production activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety protocols, promoting a culture of workplace safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, implementing rotation systems, and optimizing resource utilization to minimize waste.

Qualification

  • Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, CTF, Biology, etc.)

Years of experience in the role

  • Experience of at least 2 years

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of chromatographic systems (GC and HPLC).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of integrated management systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of English language (minimum B2 level)
  • Shift management

Activities

  • Collect, sort and analyse data to develop projects
  • Contribute to the development of new programmes and products
  • Support the R&D department in managing and generating updates and status reports on researches
  • Actively collaborate with different production departments, conducting in-depth analyses of processes to identify their strengths and weaknesses in order to develop effective strategies
  • Carry out market research and competitor studies, to identify new business opportunities, customer needs and understand how products on the market perform
  • Carry out bibliographic research with a view to continuous and constant updating

Qualification

  • Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields

Years of experience in the role

  • Experience of at least 2 years

Technical skills

  • In-depth knowledge of essential oil extraction and distillation techniques (preferred)
  • Chemical and analytical knowledge (GC-MS, HPLC, etc.) for product analysis and characterization

  • Invoice registration Italy (suppliers and professionals with RA)
  • Recording foreign invoices (EU and non-EU)
  • US invoice registration (on NAV)
  • Checking and sending monthly INTRASTAT forms
  • CONAI sending control (quarterly)
  • Preparing and sending Declarations of Intent (suppliers and Customs)
  • Control and payment by preparation of Form F-24 withholding tax (code 1040)
  • Control and payment by preparation of Form F-24 (registration tax, book stamping tax, chamber of commerce fees, IRES-IRAP, IMU, TARI etc.)
  • Control of freight rates and costs (Italian and foreign forwarders)
  • Correct SDI sending/receipt of active and passive invoices
  • Creation of assets. Checking correct recognition and calculation of depreciation
  • Control of VAT registers for monthly/quarterly settlement
  • Assistance to the Accountant in preparing the LIPE and TR Form
  • Assistance to the CFO in the preparation of the annual financial statements and the half-yearly report (control of co.ge accounts, closing, settlement and adjustment entries)
  • Assisting the CFO in the preparation of monthly CE, SP and NFP reports
  • Assistance to the CFO for audit activities requested by the auditing company, the Board of Auditors and the SB

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Years of experience in the role:

Prior experience of at least 3 years in business firms or modernly structured companies

Language skills:

Good knowledge of the English language (B2)

Digital competences:

Excellent knowledge of Excel and Outlook

Knowledge of major corporate ERPs (e.g. Microsoft Navision, SAP, Gamma Enterprise or similar)
